MoBand’s opening night “Cruisin’ ” concert on June 6th, 2024 will help kick off Modesto’s Graffiti Summer with the rock-and-roll music of Billy Joel, Roy Orbison, and Buddy Holly. And, of course, there will be marches!

The Modesto Band of Stanislaus County is one of the oldest, continuously performing bands in the United States, formed in 1919.
On May 15th, 1949, 3,200 people gathered at Graceda Park for the grand dedication ceremonies of the Mancini Music Bowl.
Today MoBand consists of approximately 130 volunteer musicians who perform FREE concerts each summer on six consecutive Thursday evenings beginning in June.
